Verify the trailer type and dimensions
Confirm whether the listing is dry van, flatbed, reefer, lowboy, dump, tank, or specialty, then verify length, width, axle setup, and any door or ramp details.
Ask about wear points
Floor condition, suspension, brakes, tires, lights, landing gear, doors, and corrosion can materially change what the trailer is worth.
Confirm paperwork and pickup details
Before money changes hands, confirm title or bill-of-sale expectations, pickup location, loading requirements, and who is responsible for transport.
