Marketplace terms
Draft marketplace terms for direct-contact listings.
These implementation-ready terms describe the current Parts Masters V1 operating model. They are not final legal terms until reviewed and approved by counsel.
Marketplace role
Parts Masters provides listing, search, seller profile, lead capture, reporting, and marketplace administration tools. Parts Masters is not the buyer, seller, broker of record, payment processor, escrow provider, shipper, title agent, inspector, warranty provider, or fulfillment provider for listed items.
No online transaction
- The website does not offer checkout, cart, online payment, escrow, shipping purchase, or order fulfillment.
- Any purchase, inspection, payment, bill of sale, title transfer, pickup, delivery, return, warranty, tax, or dispute is handled directly between buyer and seller.
- Parts Masters may collect and forward inquiries, but submitting a lead does not reserve inventory or create a purchase contract through the website.
Seller responsibilities
- Sellers are responsible for authority to list, accuracy of listing content, legal compliance, timely responses, and truthful buyer communications.
- Sellers must maintain rights to submitted media, descriptions, specifications, and source data.
- Sellers and admins must not use public-page scraping or copied marketplace listings as a substitute for seller-provided, Parts Masters-owned, or permission-confirmed source data.
- Sellers must update or request removal of listings when inventory, price, location, condition, title, or availability changes.
Buyer responsibilities
- Buyers are responsible for verifying seller identity, item condition, fitment, price, availability, title, shipping, payment terms, and transaction documents before purchase.
- Buyers should not rely on Parts Masters as an inspection, guarantee, warranty, or payment protection service.
- Buyers should report suspicious listings, copied content, inaccurate fitment, unavailable inventory, or unsafe payment requests.
Marketplace administration
Parts Masters may review, edit, rank, reject, pause, remove, or archive listings and may restrict seller access when needed for safety, rights, legal, fraud, quality, or operational reasons. Parts Masters may also maintain logs and evidence needed to operate and improve the marketplace.
